Bring your Creative Power into your business – and see the results….

If this idea is compelling to you, but you're not sure exactly what it means or perhaps you're a bit skeptical of what it can REALLY do, here are what some of the Business Goddesses from my last Business Goddess Bigger Game 2-Day Coaching Intensive are up to in the REAL world:

  • A reinvention life coach is embracing her authentic marketing style by letting her creative spirit out in her marketing (not just in her life!). She hit her $30,000, 3-month goal by putting herself out there creatively, expressively, and being open to the unique delivery methods of the Universe. Opportunities came her way that weren't even in the plan, but they just kept coming her way. Opportunity after opportunity.
  • A practical meditation coach launched her meditation CD with beautiful newpackaging, and she has tweaked her website and is showing up on social media that absolutely showcases her practical expertise in a beautiful, spiritual, powerful way.
  • A copywriter and marketing communications coach created a highly inspirational, creativity magazine, collaborating with many expert colleagues, as well as set aside time for her own deep writing.
  • A high-level, successful business coach is reinvigorating her own business energy and her programs by bringing more of her expertise and sense of adventure into her business, programs, and marketing.
  • A retail store owner stepped more fully into being a bold and personable business owner. She's letting herself be seen in her community in a more genuine and creative way, which is positively impacting her business and is a heck of a lot more fulfilling and fun for her!
  • A children's photographer is creating a website and an information product to help amateur and professional photographers capture magic when photographing children. She is putting her passion for children into multiple streams of income - marrying the passion and the practical.

Each of these women is embracing her own Creative Power. They're doing amazing, cool things in the world. They're letting their creative, authentic, powerful selves into their businesses.... and it's showing up in real, tangible results.

Aren’t you ready to do this, too?

Embrace your own Creative Power fully. Early bird and 4-pay ends today.

I hope you’ll join this small, intimate, powerful group of women in Atlanta!

Warmly,

Laura's Signature

Friday Joy Infusion: Get Creative with Your Summer Business Planning - Save $100 Today Only

Poolside chair with book, glasses, and drink on a tableI find that summer's natural relaxing rhythms let our minds "soften up" a bit and allow our hearts to have a turn. The gentle relaxation and pausing allow our innermost dreams to arise. I also see how it's a natural time to tap into our creativity.

It's a juicy time to let your visions make themselves known, to start brainstorming, writing, and joy-fully planning your next product, launch, or project. Not at a hard pace, but with a gentle creative flow of inspiration and ideas put to paper.

(Think about it – this is the time when the earth is nurturing and growing crops that will be ready to be harvested in the later summer months and in the fall.)

I've heard for years how many women take my Joyful Business Guide, a creative business planning system, to the pool or the beach.... just so they can start planting the seeds for their business. They get in touch with their gifts, get clear about their ideal clients, map out projects, create their vision.... and more.

The Joyful Business Guide isn’t your banker’s business plan that will sit on a shelf. It’s a living plan that you’ll use throughout the year to add to, evolve and keep your vision and your projects alive. We call it a creative business plan for a reason. It brings your creative right brain together with the focus and practical energy of your left brain. And you’ll keep on using the tools no matter how long you’ve been in business!

If you are looking to reinvent your business, launch new and bigger projects, and want to create a living plan you can use throughout the year, then I’ve got something special for you!

I'm offering a special summer savings that's only good for today! You can get $100 off the price of the Joyful Business Guide system (I have NEVER offered it this low!) if you purchase by midnight eastern tonight.

Just use coupon code SUMMERFUN to buy your copy of the Joyful Business Guide

Enjoy your summer inspiration and creativity!

Just Let Go

If you are like me, as a woman entrepreneur I know there are times in your business or in your life when you get yourself in a bunch, you start going in circles, chasing your tail, second guessing, doubting…. It still happens to me but with practice it doesn’t happen as much anymore.  I can get myself out of the “tailspin” quicker and usually with more grace.

Letting-go-of-butterflies There are times where people have told me over the years. “Laura, just let go.”  Let go.  Let go and what?  Note:  If someone is telling you to let go – that means you are holding on tight.  It can be hard to just let go.  There needs to be a second part to “let go and ….”.   And then what do I do? (I know, you enlightened souls will say…let go and just be….but sometimes when you’re “in it” you need a more specific redirect).

So here’s mine…( I share it so that it might help you..should you ever find yourself in the need)

Let Go AND…

*Stop Doing what you are doing

*Do Something Different

*Breathe – In and Out

*Do the Opposite of what you think you’re *supposed* to do

*Do Something Crazy, Fun, or Creative

*Go for a walk, take a nap or a shower (my 3 favs – insert yours)

*Ask your Higher Self:  “What would ______ Do” (I’ll ask Jezzie - she’s my Spirit Doll)

*Do what you think you can’t possibly do

*Take a Step and Lead

*Love Yourself

I hope this list will help you …in those moments when you need to let go and….

When Was the Last Time You Fell in Love with Your Business?

Have you been in business for a few years and suddenly you aren't feeling the love?

Have you hit a plateau of growth?

Maybe you are just tired of the same conversations with your clients?

What do you do? Chuck it all and move to the Caribbean? (You probably would have done that if you could!)

Seriously, do you find a new business and start over or ??

Here are 5 ideas for how to infuse new life in your business and discover what’s next – and, at the same time, fall back in love with your business.

1.    Ask your business what it needs. Yes, I’m serious. Talk to your business. Sit down with a journal or your laptop and have a conversation, just like you are interviewing your business. What is working? What is not working? Where has the life dribbled out? Where does it want to go? What is secretly exciting you in your business but you’ve been holding it back or holding it small?

2.    Go on a creative business retreat. It’s really hard to grow, evolve or move your business to a new place when you are in the same routine. Schedule some time to get out of your home office, your outside office (if you have one), and even your life if you can. It will do more to open up new ideas just from being in a new environment. You’ll meet new people, feel different energy, and new possibilities will reveal themselves.

3.    Take a current program or product or launch and give it a new twist. Instead of reinventing your whole business, how about re-invigorating just a part? If you are getting ready to launch another program or relaunch a product, what could you do differently to make it more interesting, more fun, more creative? Brainstorm a list: “If I were more creative/risk-taker/bold, I would do these 10 things…” Then pick 5 and step in!

4.    Talk to your mastermind or business girlfriends. Ask for their help. What do they see as potential for you? What are your strengths? What would they like more of? What help do you always give them and how can you put that into your business? What is it that you do brilliantly?

5.    Hire a great business coach. It’s really hard trying to grow your business alone. Hiring a business coach who resonates with your style of business will give you fresh perspectives, will help a new project be easier, and will re-infuse your business with new life. It’s crazy to figure it out yourself! Smart business owners know that another’s perspective is invaluable and another’s experience will make the growth happen so much easier and quite frankly, it’s more fun!

Follow these steps and watch your business open up, and you’ll absolutely fall back in love.

En-joy!

Invite in the Voice for What's Next in YOUR Business!!

I just got back a couple of days ago from my own personal creative retreat on St. Simons Island at an amazingly beautiful hotel. As soon as I walked in the door of the hotel room, my DNA shifted, ideas were buzzing, and new possibilities opened up! It’s amazing what ocean and a beautiful environment does for you and for getting out of your normal, habitual routine. I felt myself being the Business Goddess Millionairess!

Business Goddess Millionairess?

Yes - to me that metaphor is about being so filled with abundance and possibilities where I know - I can feel - I can do anything.

Now that I'm back home, I am full of confidence and a sense of purposeful expression. I have been in a place of asking for what’s next in my business – not just from an idea place, but from a soul-nourishing place. I really feel myself finally opening up and feeling excited about what’s possible. Getting out of your familiar environment and routine really helps, especially when it's beautiful.

5 Love Practices For Your Business

Love practices for your business?

Yes!

Love is the most powerful of emotions… we also know it as joy, passion, inspiration, connection, flow, beauty, creativity, and leadership.

We are literally yearning for more love in our businesses. We are tired of the same old sales letters and boring products that lack creative fire and beauty.

Love in your business makes your day feel full of joy. You are engaged and alive. You feel like you just resuscitated lives by helping make someone’s life better through your product or service. Love is that spontaneous flow of inspiration and ideas that you don’t know where it’s coming from, but you trust it for how awake and engaged you feel and the impact you can see you have on others.

Here are 5 ways you can consciously practice infusing love in your business:

1. Love Your Creativity – Freedom to creatively express yourself in your business is one of the highest values for most passionate entrepreneurs. If you find yourself nodding in agreement, then you want to make sure you schedule time for your creativity. As your business grows, it’s easy to lose touch with your creativity if you aren’t consciously giving it attention and time. Schedule creative retreat time each week to get out of your office. Spend some time journaling and mind mapping and reviewing what’s working in your business and where it needs to go. Then use some of that scheduled time to create the program, project or article ideas. Put your attention on what you want to grow!

2. Love Your Marketing - Let go of old stereotypes about marketing and what it means to market your business. These old-style limiting beliefs will just hold you back. Today’s marketing is all about creating relationships with your clients, potential clients, and potential collaborators. The more creative, fun and authentic you are, the better you’ll connect with your clients and grow your business. Successful marketing is also about having a generous mindset to help each other increase visibility and success. So… love your clients, love your colleagues… and focus on loving them in success. While you do, you’ll find you’ll be more successful too.

3. Love Your Money – Money loves being paid attention to. That means learning about money strategies, keeping your Quickbooks™ up-to-date, and knowing how much money you’ve spent and created. If you ignore money, then don’t be surprised if you aren’t making very much! Spend time nurturing your money and its flow in your business. Welcome sales into your business as a sign that you are getting your purpose (your love) into the world!

4. Love Your Life and Relationships – If you are like me, you started your business to have more freedom and flexibility in your life. So make sure that you build a business around your life, not the other way around. You want to love your life – your family, friends, hobbies, travel – whatever you love. Your personal joy is to make room and time in your life and let your business support your life.

5. Love Yourself – As your business grows, you’ll keep running up against your upper limits of success. Those beliefs that will limit how much joy you’ll allow into your business as far as money, success, recognition, great clients and enjoyment. Be aware that everyone hits upper limits of how much success they’ll allow into their businesses (think lottery winners who lose all their winnings within two years). You have to love yourself enough to allow the success in.

Where in your business can do you need to make room for the love? Which area do you need to start with first?

The Power of Gratitude

Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and if there's one thing we can
take from this holiday that will transform our lives, it's the habit of
gratitude. There is a power in gratitude that enables us to tap into
blessings, receive abundance, seize opportunities, and find joy in life.
It's especially fascinating when you look at how you can bring gratitude
into your business - a key attraction energy for creative entrepreneurs!

I'm thrilled to share with you a special program discussion I was recently a
part of called "The Power of Gratitude to Transform Your Life." You may
listen to this f.r.e.e audio or download a written transcript of it at

Experts on this call include marriage & family expert Dr. Linda Miles,
attraction marketing expert Laura West, relationship expert Nancy Gerber and
Marnie Pherson from IdeaMarketers.

I hope you enjoy it!
