My Biggest Tip for Your Sales Page to Get Better Results

Have you experienced this before?

You've created a beautiful sales page (congratulations!). You've marketed it. You've sent out email campaigns.

Yet no one buys. What's wrong?

Did you remember to create some authentic urgency?

This is the #1 reason why most sales pages don't work.

TIP: Create Authentic Urgency so that your reader doesn't leave the page and doesn't forget about your amazing product or program.

The key here is "authentic" - YOU feel good about it.

TAKE ACTION: You can create authentic urgency in a variety of ways.

1. Offer a bonus they can only get if they sign up now.

2. Set a deadline, and after that deadline, the product or program is no longer available.

3. Limit the number of spaces due to room size or number of people you can work with at one time.

4. Offer a discount (think early bird, special, early-decision, etc.)

TIP: Want an easy way to get started? Just start gathering information. You never start by actually writing the sales page… you gather first! (even if you think you do - at least mentally you're gathering fodder to start writing with later).

TAKE ACTION: Gather photos of you or your product.

Gather compelling words and phrases.

Brainstorm your customers' pains and dreams.

Look at the checklist we sent out yesterday, pick one item, and start gathering things you need.

Marketing and Chocolate Go Together! See How!

Want To Take A Creative Leap With Me?

I'll share something I've learned personally about taking leaps in your business.  If you really want a big shift...you can't keep doing the same thing over and over again.  It's not about "do more" harder and faster.

The truth us you have to change it up. Do something different. Be willing to rock your refined schedule, ditch the urgent emergency only actions. Youve got to Take time for you...to grow personally.

Because when YOU leap....your business leaps.(and so does your personal life but I know you probably have to justify this personal creative growth I'm calling you to by making it all about your biz!)

When you open up your creativity within yourself it gets translated in all sorts of ways into your business...more confidence, practicing that muscle of being courageous, creating from the heart, opening up your vulnerability in new exciting ways which are scary and yet make you more accessible and relatable to your clients, readers and fans.

That's why I'm starting off this year with more emphasis on my own creative growth rather than just focusing on business how-tos. (Those are important, but we're talking about how to grow by leaps and bounds).

I want to share a cool creative program I'm going to be a part of. It's called the Photo Essay Project. It's led by Bindu Wiles who is helping me open up my deeper creative reserves in many ways. In this program we are going to take photos with our iPhones and droid mobiles of people around us. Reminescent of street photography we used to see in LIFE magazine.  It's part about the creative process but what I'm learning about Bindu it's really about finding mirrors of ourselves within others. 

I'll share that for me it sounds like fun and yet I'm scared. Its vulnerable to bring your creative mess, er, process to a group...and yet I know it's a valuable part of being able to break down my own barriers for a deeper sense of connection...with others, myself and the creative spirit.

What I know is that my growth will show up for you too. It'll help me access a deeper wisdom and creative wellspring to be more of service in my life and through my business.

The Inner Game of Joint Ventures

Joint venture strategies and tactics aren't rocket science. They're not difficult to grasp, or even implement, though they may take some elbow grease.

Navigating the inner landscape, is another story. More often what holds you back in approaching a potential JV partner is the perception that they are so much further along than you…

They are more successful.
They are well known.
They are experts!

Why would someone who has SO much together want to partner with you? There are plenty of ways to position the answer so that you feel comfortable, and justified, in approaching JV partnerships. There are even tools that you can use to muster up enough energy and confidence, to bridge the momentary gap.

The truth is that nothing is more compelling than certainty… your certainty. Certainty does not live in your intellect, it resides in your being. You could go off on a tangent and find ways to increase your sense of self worth, but you'd be walking on shaky ground. Self worth lacks the substance to sustain profound vision. It is a surface exploration devoid of the depths of your Essence.

How to Partner Authentically

Your Essence is not powered by fame, fortune, or fulfilling a legacy. Your Essence is powered by Life and awakens in creative expression, cosmic communion and cascading abundance.

Here are some recommendations for partnering with others who reflect your light:

  1. Reclaim Your Essence. Own your own light! As long as you are feeling 'less than' someone or something, you are in the playground of illusion and are at the mercy of misunderstandings. These show up as fear of rejection, self deprecation, and self doubt. You have intrinsic worth, just by being here. Life is intricately designed, and you are in perfect partnership with creation. You serve no one by being less than who you really are. Bring your fullness to the party!
  2. Relish Your Partner's Essence. Make it a practice to hone in on your partner's brilliance. Focus on what has impressed you about their work, or even how their work has impacted you. The world so often points out what's wrong, how refreshing, empowering and enlightening to reflect on what's right!
  3. Be Powered By Your Vision. Take the focus off you, and instead, bring it to what you are passionate to bring into being. Often the problem is that your vision isn't big enough. You should, at first, feel nervous to speak it aloud. Once your focus is powered by your vision you'll be surprised how easily you can dare to go to the edge and do things you've never done before!

Life is always in partnership. You are in partnership with your own essence, your partner and your vision. In the end, the only sure thing is YOU and the force that propels you to embody what you are here to do and be.

You are a child of an infinite Universe, here to engage and express your unbounded BEing. Embody your Essence and gift it to the world! The power of partnerships will help you reach more people. The more people that reclaim their light, the sooner we bring a new world into being and that's an extraordinary vision to partner on!
